EUROPE: Differences in vaping culture

Europe has a diverse vaping culture, with different countries having different views on vaping. In the UK, vaping is seen as a way to reduce health risks for smokers who want to quit cigarettes. Public Health England supports vaping, stating that it is 95% less harmful than smoking.

Conversely, countries like France and Belgium have stricter regulations that restrict the promotion and sale of e-cigarettes and e-liquids. Countries like Greece and Spain have looser regulations and allow people to vape in public.

Vaping in Russia is characterized by a DIY approach and a preference for powerful, customizable devices. The Russian vape community is very active online, with many enthusiasts sharing their own e-liquid builds and recipes. Vape shops and bars are common in larger cities, and vaping is seen as both a hobby and a lifestyle, often associated with a rebellious, countercultural attitude.
